Installation or Functionality Issues
If the extension does not appear in your toolbar or is not working correctly:
- Check Activation: Go to the
chrome://extensionspage and ensure that the SEO Snapshot extension is enabled. - Pin the Icon: Click the puzzle piece icon in your Chrome toolbar, then click the pin icon next to SEO Snapshot to make it permanently visible.
- Restart: Try restarting your Chrome browser to ensure the installation is complete.
Step 2
The Extension Does Not Work on Certain Sites
The extension needs access to the page content to function. If it is not executing:
- Refresh the Page: A simple refresh of the web page often resolves loading issues.
- Check Restrictions: The extension cannot function on internal Chrome pages (like
chrome://settings) or on the Chrome Web Store itself.
